On June 6, 1844, the YMCA or Young Men’s Christian Association because of the social conditions after the Industrial Revolution. The organization has the aim of putting the Christian principles to the society by developing a heatlhy body, mind, and spirit. There has been 125 national associations with more than 57 million beneficiaries
YMCA has been working side-by-side the neighbors to make sure that regardless of a person’s background, image, and age, everyone will have the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. We listen to the communities and we make sure to respond to them, making sure that we don’t just promise, but to always deliver the positive change needed. We believe that everyone has the equal opportunity to develop and have a lasting and meaningful change and guide the community especially the youth on how to make a healthy choice with their life.
